bCentral is Done, Man

Looks like Microsoft is no longer taking new submissions to bCentral, one of the few really trusted directories (from a search engine's point of view).

Seems they're in the process of transferring their small business operation over to Office Live, which doesn't look like it will have a directory. Guess that's the end of $49 trusted links from bCentral, one of the best deals for new link builders. Too bad.

On the other hand, it's best not to depend too much on directories for your link building strategy anyway.
