Did Yahoo Open a Massive User-Driven Amateur Comedy Site?

Well, maybe not intentionally. Yahoo opened Yahoo Answers today, "a place where people ask each other questions on any topic, and get answers by sharing facts, opinions, and personal experiences."

Predictably, it's already packed with hilariously stupid questions, many not fit to be reprinted on a family-friendly site such as this. Go see for yourself (it's got a lot of serious questions, too).

By the way, I know there's already a site out there that has been doing this exact thing for a long time, but its name eludes me at the moment.
