DMCA Violators Outed in Google SERPs

While doing some research today, I typed in the Google search

automatic dialers

Scrolling to the bottom of the page, I saw the following notice:

In response to a complaint we received under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint for these removed results.

The notice actually linked to a Chilling Effects page with details on who had filed the complaint, and which particular pages they had filed it against.

Copyright violators beware. Not only will your infringing pages get stripped from Google's SERPs, but Google is more than happy to let the world know what you've been up to. Not the best public relations move for your business, IMO.
