Google: All Your Data Are Belong to Us

Ok, lame pun, and this is the last of the Google hatin'.

I hate to be so mean to Google when they've been so good to me, but here's news that Urchin On Demand from Google is now reduced to $199 per month, a 60 percent drop from the previous cost of $495 per month.

I always felt that Urchin's software, as good as it is, was obscenely overpriced. Now it's at a much more reasonable level, but as Aaron Wall accurately states, "Many smart search marketers probably are not willing to be paid to give Google all their data."

I could go on, but I've worn out my brain with too much reading today, so I'll just point you to the 3 best posts I've read on the "Google as Big Brother" topic.
