Google Beefs Up Blog Search

Pretty cool new feature from Google Blog Search. Been floating around for a few days but just officially announced on their blog—you can now search blog posts by date.

Limit to the last hour, last 12 hours, last day, past week, past month, or choose any specific time period (similar to Google News advanced search). Seems simple, but this is super useful when doing research. Something like this would be great in the regular search results, too. The current date filter is too broad.
