Two other employees got the sack for their role in the mess. Guess it had to happen sooner or later. I'm kind of bummed with the negative backlash AOL got over this issue. They did the Internet Marketing community a huge favor by releasing this data, and it's unlikely to ever happen again, given what happened. I wished they had managed it better. That sort of keyword data is not easy to come by. |
