The Slow Death of the Trackback

As a result of an attack of trackback spamming, Nick over at Threadwatch has disabled trackbacks. And Danny Sullivan over at SearchEngineWatch Blog has recently done the same. Too bad, now I really have no reason for linking to them ;)

Seriously, it's a shame it's come to this. Trackbacks can be a great way to find new blogs. Some blog spammers still need to learn the Golden Rule of Blog Spamming: Only spam blogs that no one is paying any attention to.
