Windows Live Local is, uh, Live

Another beta project out today, this time from Microsoft. Windows Live Local had its debut, looking quite Google Maps-ish, but with a bunch of cool features, including:

1. A 45-degree bird's-eye view of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle and Las Vegas.

2. Integration with MSN instant messenger.

3. Customizable, shareable maps with pushpins.

Also seems to be fairly functional in FireFox, from what I could see.
